Our principles
Timeless Tresses exists to translate visual hair inspiration into practical choices. We separate opinion from fact, acknowledge differences in texture and routine, and avoid universal face-shape or age rules.
How content is created
Each guide begins with a clearly defined reader question. The editorial team develops an outline, verifies the technical language, writes the article in original wording, and checks that recommendations include realistic maintenance and adaptation notes.
Publishing checklists cover headline accuracy, descriptive alt text, internal links, accessibility, image rights, disclosures, and the date of the latest material update.
Expertise and professional review
We do not present an editor as a licensed stylist unless that person’s credentials have been verified. When a professional reviews or contributes to a guide, the page will identify their role and relevant experience. Articles without expert review are attributed to the Editorial Team.
Hair and scalp symptoms that may involve a health condition are outside our editorial scope and should be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional.
Sources and trend coverage
For technical and health-adjacent claims, we prefer manufacturer instructions, professional education, recognized medical organizations, regulations, and primary sources. Trend articles may also reference public runway, red-carpet, salon, and creator examples when relevant and properly attributed.
Images, retouching, and generative AI
Images may be commissioned, licensed, supplied with permission, or created with generative tools. AI-generated or illustrative images are used to communicate a visual idea and are not represented as real client transformations. Material alterations that could affect expectations should be disclosed near the image or in the article.
Every image must have a documented source or creation record before publication. Reader and stylist submissions require permission for the intended use.
Advertising, affiliates, and independence
Advertising and affiliate relationships may help fund the publication, but they do not purchase favorable editorial conclusions. Sponsored material will be labeled. Affiliate links will be disclosed before or near the first commercial recommendation.
Corrections and updates
We correct material errors promptly and update the modification date when changes affect the reader’s understanding. Small spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note.
